The Senior’s Lunch Program is a vibrant time of fellowship while enjoying a hot meal.  Average attendance at each lunch is 34, which does not include takeout lunches of which we have at least 5 each meal!  The makeup of the group is about 50/50 Mimico Presbyterian and Friends from the community.  We have indeed been blessed by the friendships made in this group of wonderful seniors.  Members of our congregation feel free to bring along a guest, many of whom have become members of the group.  Members of the group have taken up the preemie hat challenge and are making hats or donating to the purchase of yarn or are sandwich angels for our Evangel Hall Sandwich program.

A hot meal is provided at each lunch.  Much thought is given to each menu and all holidays are incorporated into both the menu and the decorations which adorn both the tables and the walls.

The lunches are held on the second and fourth Thursday of most months.  There are no lunches in the summer and only one in December.
